project overview
The Cuban Museum was a project that resonated a lot with my Cuban heritage I was not only proud but honored to have been chosen to design the branding for a museum that would house works of art, history, struggles, and triumphs of my family and ancestors. By taking the iconic flag, dissecting it, and turning it into a much less obvious symbol, the museum’s identity was born.
Since its initial induction in 2011 and a turnover in management, it has since been renamed the American Museum of the Cuban Diaspora but the branding still stands.
